The Village of Slinger in Wisconsin is a welcoming community offering excellent schools, easy access to shopping and recreation, and the beautiful Kettle Moraine park-like setting. Slinger and the surrounding area offer plenty of fun for the whole family. Take in some racing action at the Slinger Super Speedway, the World’s Fastest Quarter Mile Oval. Swim at the Aquatic Center -Fireman’s Park Annex Beach, a 1.14-acre swimming pond with a sand beach, water umbrella, children’s turtle slide and diving platform. Located a short drive away is the Washington County Fairgrounds. The Washington County Fairgrounds hosts events throughout the year such as the Winter Carnival, various concerts, and of course the popular summer fair. Check out Pike Lake State Park which features five different trails, boating, swimming, camping, bird watching, and a nice grassy area for a picnic. One of the trails, the Ice Age Trail, overlooks Pike Lake and features a “selfie location” where you can snap a picture of yourself and share it on Instagram using #ScenicWisconsin. If you enjoy skiing and biking, check out Little Switzerland. Located in Slinger, Little Switzerland features skiing in the winter, and mountain bike trails in the summer. Whether you are an expert skier, or a beginner, there are plenty of trails. Another great place to check out near Slinger is the Erin Hills Golf Course. Erin Hills was the site of the 2017 U.S. Open Championship. Erin Hills was thoughtfully designed to emphasize the great views of the rolling hills and glaciers. Minutes from Hwy 60 and I-41/US 45, Slinger offers an easy commute to Milwaukee, Waukesha & Fond du Lac.
